Las Vegas Flamingo Since Remodel

Has anyone stayed in the Flamingo since the remodel? I am attending a conference at a resort down the street that I have no desire to stay at again (Westin - it smelled like sewer the entire time), so I know that the Flamingo is within walking distance. I didn't want Bally's as it is awful now. How about the Flamingo, or should I try somewhere else? TY

Some of the rooms have been remodeled but not all. I've not stayed but I hear the remodeled rooms are decent.

Maybe Planet Hollywood or Hard Rock?

We just got back from the Mirage and loved it. Paris is also in the area of the Flamingo and Bally's .We looked at staying at Paris but it was a vacation trip so the Mirage pool(along with it's closeness to both Casears and the Venetian)won the day.

I just spent a week at the Flamingo (Nov 18-22). My first time there.
Upper floor (23), view of the pool/flamingo habitat. I'm assuming it
was one of the remolded rooms. Great bath with separate shower
and a TV in the mirror. Bigger than most non-suite hotel baths I've
been in. Big TV, nice stereo system.

I really liked it. I think this will be my new "go to" hotel in Vegas.
