Fla RESIDENTS Do you buy annual passes?

Oh you bet we do! :thumbsup2 We have regular annuals. We use the monthly payment option, under $70 a month for the 2 of us. :teacher:
We live 31 miles away. :moped: We are there all the time! Wednesday night I called DH on the way home and asked what was for supper? :mickeybar He said what about Prime Time? We hopped up for supper. Ate, walked around and came home. No rides, no shows.
Last year in 11 months we visited over 60 times! :cool1:

We just moved from MN to FL - 4 miles from Disney :cheer2: :cool1:. I went back & forth on the premium or regular & decided on the regular AP. I LOVE it!

I've had an annual pass for about 10 of the last 13 years (three years away at grad school in Iowa). For those ten years I've lived an hour and a half away so it's been worth it for me with the parking since we mostly go for day trips at least once a month. Plus, I often have relatives or friends come down to visit in the summertime or at other school break times so it's nice to be able to go then. Some of my friends have gotten seasonal passes at various times and we use my pass for parking.

However, I'm looking for a new job so if I get one that's more than 3 hours away from WDW, I'll probably get the seasonal pass. At that point, I figure I'll end up visiting mostly in the off season and staying OP for a weekend several times a year.

Ok not to butt in thread, but we are DVC members so get DVC APs We just bought a condo with son in ST A 2hr away. He lives in OH but is on deed since 1/2 his too. Can he purchase Fl AP any kind for himself and family DW and 2 DD and if so how? Anyone steer me in a direction for info and what kind to purchase.:)

No, you have to be a florida resident not a florida homeowner. If he is a DVC member then he can buy DVC ones. If he is neither a resident or DVC member then he is restricted to the regular rates.

We haved AP's for 18 yrs. We had them before kids, and before we lived 25mins. Away from the entrance. We LOVE them! We try not to go during the summer days,or spring break time. We sometimes go just for dinner!

I've got an AP and a separate waterpark annual pass because if you don't go to Disney Quest it works out cheaper to buy them separately. I've used the AP 8 times already (and hopped everytime) and it expires March 30 so I think I've pretty much already gotten my money's worth. I've used the water park pass 4 times so definitely got good use out of that. Of course this is all moot now since I have Traditions this week! :cool1:

(Except my annual pass is on the monthly payment plan and until April I will feel like I'm paying Disney to work there...oh well!:lmao:)
