FL. Tours Report!

Hey All,

We just returned from our WDW / The Magic vacation. We used FL. Tours again this trip and it was great.

Our transfers consisted of the following:

Arrived MCO on 4/2 at 12:08 AM (yes that is just past midnight) we flew out of Chicago at 8:40 PM on 4/1. FL. Tours was waiting for us with a luggage cart right at the bottom of the escalator. It always makes me nervous with these late night/early AM arrivals that there can be confusion about which day is really meant.

We were driven to the Dolphin in a wonderful luxery van (needed it with all the luggage, can you say over pack!)

Friday night we got a call from Andy at FL. Tours confirming our Saturday pick up for transportation to the port to board the Magic. They showed up on Saturday in this gorgeous white Ford Excursion - talk about a biggie! Transportation to the port with a quick stop to pick up some needed meds was great.

On Saturday 4/10 we dis-embarked from the ship about 8:00 am and were met by FL. Tours with another great van - they dropped us at the Dolphin and it was off to enjoy the parks.

That evening Andy called again to confirm our pichup on Sunday for the trip back to MCO. Sunday afternoon around 5:00 pm we headed out of the Dolphin and there was FL. Tours waiting for us.

That was great service, early morning arrival, 4 different transfers - not a single hitch! Thanks Andy!

Did you have him call the hotel to confirm or your cell phone?

Andy did call the hotel to confirm - but at one point he needed to get a hold of me for another reason and called my cell - they will do whatever you prefer.

I will be reading everyone's posts about towncar services. We will be needing one for August and December. FL Tours had some of the most expensive rates. I don't mind paying more as long as I get good service. I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for.

That is so good to hear. We have them booked for our May cruise. This will be the first time using this type of service. I'm a bit nervous.

One question. When do you pay them. When they pick you up the first time?

Yes - you pay them at the end of the first leg of your trip - we did tip the driver seperate for each leg of the trip.

You have got that right - we have in the past gone with less expensive services - and we could tell it by the level of service we received.
