FL to CA booked - what to do?

I have 2 reservations for the FL to CA repositioning cruise, a cat 11 and a cat 9 each for 2 adults. I got pretty low rates, cat 11 rate is ~ $3100 less $100 rebate and the cat 9 is $4100 less $150 rebate.

In addition, I still have an April 30 eastern booked that I could cancel in order to apply my 10% + $200 credit towards one of the above.

I'm inclined to let the cat 11 room go and stick with the cat 9. Suggestions?

You got great prices for both your cabins! I would be inclined to keep the cat 9. It is a longer voyage and visiting new ports. Also, you might want to check with your family and friends to ask if they are interested in cruising with you. (I did, and they all said yes! so DU changed names around and we booked several cabins on this sailing).

H99, I've been debating between the inside room and porthole room. One of the problems is I didn't have a cabin assignment on the porthole room, so I had no clue where it was located. The cat 11 room is mid-ship, deck 7, so probably a nice room.

Anyways, I found out the cat 9 assignment, it's midship, starboard side, non connecting room, so I think it's a good assignment and I've decided that's the one I'll stick with.

Anyways, you have a PM with my contact information. If I can transfer the cat 11 ressie to you, it's yours. And I won't turn down a free drink on the cruise if you feel inclined.

How would you work this with DCL? My understanding is you can't change all the names on a booking without cancelling and rebooking (and paying the then current price). I have a similar dilemma. Please let us know how this pans out for you!

No, just the base fare and taxes for 2 adults.

The only thing I can add is that a bit of Dreams magic was applied to the reservation.

Peter & Sam--glad I could help.

My understanding is you can't change all the names on a booking without cancelling and rebooking (and paying the then current price).

That is a correct understanding Nancy.
