FL resident AP for visiting relative?

Is it possible to get a resident pass for an adult sibling who'll just be visiting us?

How long do you have to be a Florida resident to get the FL AP? I'm hoping to move to Florida next year at about the same time my current AP is expiring.

As long as u have a valid Fla license.. it's an easy, immediate go. The Disney website has particular requirements even if one Owns a home in fla, but does not live here year round... lots of snow birds...
I've never noted a "time" requirement myself.
And they do check residency before you are given the ticket/pass etc. you typically get a voucher to take to guest services.
