Ok, I know this sounds crazy but after looking at pics and video of FJ I don't know if I can do the castle part since I suffer from claustrophobia. The castle looks very closed in and I am afraid with standing inside there I will feel "stuck" with no escape. My DH and DS will do all of it and the ride with no problem. My DD will do the castle part but may chicken out right before the ride.

So my questions are: What are everyone's thoughts as to feelings of claustrophobia in the castle?

If my DD goes through it all with my other family and chickens out of the ride, can I just wait at the child swap area and get her or would I have to go through the castle just to get to child swap area?

Thanks so much for all your input. We are going this Sunday for a few days.

The castle actually isn't really closed in. The rooms are quite large and there is lots of room to "escape" if you need to. The child swap room is much smaller. I would give it a try and if you find yourself panicing, just grab a team member and they will lead you out.

The crowd density in the queue line can be very salmon-packed so that could be a problem if you don't like people pressing all around you. But if you freaked out, I'll bet they'd part like the red sea, LOL! Then you could easily get out. Just remind yourself of that and you will be fine. I would think you'd have more trouble with the shoulder restraint on FJ. There's no escape from that, and it occasionally breaks down so you're stuck till they get it up and running again...could be short, could be long (I think they longest I've been stuck on it is 15 mins.).

Ya, I wouldn't advise that the OP ride the ride. It is definitely claustrophobic.
