Does anybody know if the updated mansion rooms at POR will sleep 5; like the ones in AB ?

No, the mansions are only for 4 guests unless 1 guest is under 3 than 5 would be allowed.

A refurbishment of a building, that only includes new fixtures, furniture, and painting, etc. does not change the required adherence to the fire codes.

Mansion buildings are designed to handle four per room in the exit corridors and stairs; AB was designed to handle 5 per room in the exit corridors and stairs.

mansion is only for 4 but I can say that as a family of 5, we stayed in Mansion this past May with a roll away bed. When I checked in, that room was already assigned to us. I tried to get back to AB as I prefer that but they couldn't switch us.

You have to really be a close family to sleep 5 to one of those rooms. If your budget doesn't allow for a 2br villa or 2 hotel rooms on-site, know that for less money you can rent a 4-5 bedroom home with pool. The cost savings would easily pay for a rental car and except for MK you can drive as fast to the parks as taking a bus.

I've stayed in nearly every resort over the years and have come to prefer the rental homes as you get away from the crowds and people for a while.
