Fitting on the forbidden journey

I know when the ride first open they had problems for large riders have they addressed that problem? for the larger guys that have been on it is it a being to wide? for example when I fly, the airline seats I have no problem fitting in but my shoulders are hanging over each armrest and from the pictures I see this ride looks narrow

My husband is 6ft5" and just lost 50 pounds, so he is at 325. He JUST fit into the seat this past weekend (see story here, lol: http://goobermonkey.com/2011/06/take-it-off-monday-06-20-11/) and an attendant had to do the 3rd click for him...but he made it

Aww that was a lovely story.........now wonder you smacked his arm though after tricking you like that........but how lovely for him.

And he does not look 325lbs.....he carries it well

Thanks for asking and thanks for the great answers. My best friend was so worried about fitting on this ride. She lost 30 lbs and is at 240 now. I told her I did not think she would have any problem and that there is a tester seat. I also told her that if the the bar didn't click, I would fake a panic attack and we could walk off together. I am going to tell her to read the link story above as well.

BTW - the tester seat out front? I think it's wrong. My husband keeps getting the red light on both of the seats outside of Hogwarts, but gets yellows each time inside of the bldg with the tester seat.
