To anyone who has these...........are they really comfortable? Could you wear them all day long at DLR for multiple days in a row? I'm contemplating buying a pair for my trip.

I bought some fit flops on the internet (Macys.com) on sale in hopes of wearing them at work on casual days.

Unfortunately, I didn't find them comfortable nor attractive. The base part comes very far up on the top of the foot, which I didn't like.

If you think you want to try them, I'd recommend trying them on and walking around a bit first. I returned both pairs for a refund because they weren't quite what I expected and I knew I wouldn't wear them.

If you like the way they look and they fit, I think Disney would be a great place to tone up!

I have worn flips flops around Disneyland since may of 05. I was never a flip flop person, but i found a pair of nike's called celso and they are super light and the material is super soft between the toes. They are usually around 20 dollars and i think worth every penny. Of course i always take a pair of "regular shoes" (sneakers) but 80% of the time is spent in my nike's. The only thing with them, is that they are rubber so your foot will slip if they get wet. But i love them, i've worn them every summer since i found them. Anyway, hope that helps.

I totally plan on wearing my FitFlops! I even wear them around the house when my feet are tired. They are super cushy and supportive. Might even buy a new pair for the trip in May!

Love my FitFlops! Have them in 3 different colors and wear them all the time. I find them incredibly comfortable and while they're not terribly fashionable, I think they look as good as most flip flops do. You can find lots of different colors and several styles if you look on line. Definitely wear them a few weeks before your trip;the straps and footbed become more comfortable as you wear them. Have fun!

Are you talking Croc flipflops? Personally I would NEVER wear flip flops to DL or any other theme park. Zero support. I can hardly wear them around all day at home much less on such a huge walking trip. If you do try this, bring back up shoes.

I think they are asking about a brand name flip flop called a "FitFlop".
I also wanted to add that while the cheap flip flops you find in most stores are terrible for your feet, there are some high end specialty flip flops that are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have very high arches and swear by my Montrails (I found them based on suggestions on the WDW side of Dis). They could be cuter, but with their arch support and custom molded foot bed they as so comfortable. I bought mine for WDW and did 3 days in the park and I can't count how many trips in them to DLR and never had a problem. I even went back and bought a second pair. With my high arches they are some of my most comfortable shoes I own!

A good pair of flip flops is a great thing to own!

I wore Fit Flops for most of my last trip and they were great! I have yet to see the toning effect, but wear them for comfort. I think they look fine. I would never wear a pair of 2.50 Old Navy flip flops to DL but the Fit Flops are high enough I don't feel my feet are getting dirty.

I was watching the episode of Jon and Kate plus 8 where they went to WDW. She (Kate) walked all over WDW with 8 kids in cheapo flip flops. I don't know how people can do that.

Hi,
Yes, I was talking about the brand "FitFlop". I use regular flip flops everyday and was looking for something with more support and I read about FitFlops on the web.

Thanks everyone for your opinions and suggestions! :thumbsup2

Hmmm... I am totally intrigued by these!

Do you know if there is a difference between the different styles as far as function goes? I just saw a $10 price difference between the basic ones and the Fitflop 2 or whatever... I think they're pretty cute.

I don't have them because I don't like the style. However, I did find reef flip flops at Ross and holy moly they are AWESOME! I never thought I would wear flip flips to Disneyland, but now it's pretty much all I wear there!

I like my FitFlops and they are great for wearing around town but they are not comfy enough for me to wear around a theme park. The nib between the toes bothers me after a few hours.

I just bought the cutest pair of Teva Mush that I hope to wear half days at DL. The nib thing feels great so far.

I have worn my fit flops around WDW in Florida for 3 weeks solid and they were wonderful ! They are so so comfortable I can highly reccommend them :thumbsup2

Thanks for the tip on Montrails! I like to have a pair as a back up and for riding Splash Mountain and I've been shopping for new ones. My arches are high, as well, and not any flip flops will do. I saw that REI's outlet has them on sale and ordered a pair, thanks to your rec! :thumbsup2

I live in flip flops, so maybe thats why I wear them in the parks - I only wore shoes once on our week long trip in WDW. I think the most comfortable shoe you can wear in DLR or WDW is what you personally feel the best wearing!

I would love to try some FIT flops - I'm just not sold on the "design" yet. We'll see if they go on sale and then if I can resist! :goodvibes

I will have to look at the sale I would love a third pair!! I love mine and with the number of positive reviews on Zappos I hope you love them as much!!!

I have to add I think the Fitflops are really ugly :( I also have heard that in tests they do nothing for you and for some people were bad for their back.
