Fishing?

Going down to BCV 9/22-9/28 and remember reading about a fishing excusion either at the YC marinia or at OKW..does anyone here have any info about it and the prices? it is for 4 adults and thought it would be fun TIA Marianne

We had a wonderful fishing experience when we stayed at the BWV 2 years ago. My family (DH, myself & DS was 5yo) reserved the early morning excursion which left from the BWV.

We had a blast catching bass & sunnies. What is really nice about the early morning fishing excursion is that the fishing guide took us into the Lagoon inside of Epcot and we fished there all morning. It was a really neat experience. I don't believe that you are permitted inside Epcot's lagoon during the later fishing excursion once the park opens.

We actually caught a decent amount of fish. Which is catch & release of course. Our quide was great and we had alot of fun.
We were concerned that our 5yo DS would get bored, but he didn't. He had a blast!!!
We are thinking about doing it again in June 2003.

I would highly recommend the fishing excursions.

We have taken many fishing excursions and never caught any sunnys. We have always used live bait and the bait we used was as big as some of the fish I have caught outside of Disney! The trip is not inexpensive but well worth the money. I have not fished in two years so things could have changed but we liked to fish Bay lake. We would get picked up at either the Poly, GF or Contemp. and five people could fish. We even had 6 on board more than once but only 5 were fishing.
