Fishing at the Contemporary

My son is a fishing nut and while we are at the swimming pool, he would just as soon be fishing. Has anyone done one of the bass fishing excursions offerred, and is fishing from the banks and dock allowed at the Contemporary. Thanks in advance for replying.

My DH and I took a fishing excursion from the Contemporary several years ago. It was great! We fished right in front of the Magic Kingdom, by the Polynesian, and by Fort Wilderness. We actually caught a few fish too (which we let go). If your son likes to fish, I highly recommend the excursion.

We did not go on the fishing exscursion but looked at the info when we were there and all tehe photos of people w/fish they had caught....it does look like a fun day....especially if your DS loves fishing that much. Would love to hear how it turns out if you decide to go!

There was an article in the Chicago Tribune about 2 weeks ago about fishing at Disney - I'm sure it was a pick up column from a national distribution, I'll look to see if I can find it somewhere.
