I just bought it at Meijer on sale for $49!!! My DD3 will love it from Santa!

My dd9 got the house and stable when she was 3.5 or 4. She still plays with it though she mostly likes to arrange the house. I recently picked up a second house twin time from Craigslist so that both dd9 and dd5 would have a house to play with. Over the years I have picked up many of the accessories and some extra people so with the recent buy 1 get 1 free sale at Toys R Us they can set up both houses and share the yard/camping things. I love the camper. At this point if dd9 stops playing with it today she more than got her money's worth.

Oh traditionally Toys R Us does the loving family buy 1 get 1 free twice a year in October then in either April or May (don't remember for sure).

Is this too "young" for a 5 1/2 year old? I really wanted to get the Melissa and Dough wooden dollhouse but DD keeps asking for the Fisher Price set. I notice the age recommendation is 3-6 on the FP one, do you think DD will be too old for this one? I don't want to buy it and her grow out of it in a year.

My 8 and 5 year olds still play with this doll house.

My 4 year old is getting this. When the sets were B1G1 it's a better deal to buy the smaller home and the sets yourself, BUT we only have one TRU and most of the sets were gone. I got the few not included with the super set and waited for the super set to go on sale.

YESTERDAY and TODAY from 3 to 7 the super set is $129.99, which is $30 off. Plus I had the $10 GC coupon, so I got hers yesterday. I'll hold my reciept and if it gets cheaper I'll return and rebuy.


Just incase anyone wants the super set. You don't get the free van, but it's still a $30 savings. I think the sale is online too, and there may be a free shipping code somewhere
