Fish and Chips at Yorkshire County Fish Shop vs Rose and Crown Dining Room

They definitely seem very different to me. DH and I both prefer the fish from the stand outside, as we felt that the batter to fish ratio was better, but both are good. We always get the fish and chips from the stand, and a cider and black from inside, as our first stop at WDW!!!!!

I know this an old thread but I’m at R&C now and the fish is Hake. It smelled very fishy and was quite thin and small. Not the normal thick yummy pieces I was used to so I sent it back and got the Shepards pie.

So disappointed!! Definitely not cod or pollack.

So has there been confirmation that neither Yorkshire County Fish Shoppe or Rose and Crown have cod? While I understand for financial reasons (around here, cod's over $10/pound), the other options don't appeal to me.

I ate at Yorkshire last month. I don't know what kind of fish it was, but it was fresh, hot, and a huge portion.
