Hey gang, I had read a lot of posts and asked a lot of questions regarding taking digital photos, manual settings etc. I have to admit that my camera is barely a month old, and I consider myself a photo novice. I actually sold a 35mm camera with like 4 different lenses that my father had left because I didnt know how to use the thing.
Well, we went to disney last week, and I was still a little worried about using my little canon isoa5 on our trip. Guys, your advice was right on the money. I really tried to stay away from dark shots..But the advice I read about fireworks photos was spot on. I got some MAGNIFICENT fireworks photos with I think a 5 second shutter. MAN ARE THEY GREAT. Still working out the whole Flickr thing, or else I'd post some. Maybe Ill try tonight.
But anyway..a TON of thanks for all the advice. Having the fireworks photos come out right was a real treat.
Thanks SOO much!
