After not visiting the parks in almost 3 years, we are finally planning a trip next June :-) We have never been in June (we like October, but now that DS is in Middle School he can't miss a week of school). Our options for June are the first week (approx 1st-9th) or the third week (approx 17th-24th). I am trying to weigh which timeframe is better. Any thoughts?

First week. June is just going to get hotter, rainier and more crowded as the month progresses.

We went around July 4th this year so I was paying attention to wait times in June. Later in June had relatively low crowds this year. There was lots of chatter on here and other places about how 'dead' it was (dead being a relative term when it comes to WDW crowds). I am more and more a fan of mid June-July, it's really not the overwhelmingly crowded time many people think (everyone goes in October now!). Heck, even July 4th week was GREAT from my perspective. Having now been several weeks in June/July the last few years, I'm a total fan of summer.

I like June as well. Yes, it is hot, but that makes it pleasant for swimming! Of those weeks, I'd pick the first week in June. As the month progresses, more schools will be out for summer and crowds will increase. Where I live in the northeast, public schools are still in session in early June.

We went the first week of June last year and thought the crows were not to bad, but we were expecting the worst. As others have said it was hot, but some how I still saw people wearing light jackets in the middle of the day when I was sweating.

Thanks for your thoughts. We are leaning towards the first week of June. I like the idea that some schools are still in session.
