First Week of Decemeber 05

I am bringing my brother and sister-in-law to WDW for their first trip. The do not want large crowds or heat. I normally go in the spring but they chose the begining of December. I have never been to WDW during Christmas month so am now looking forward to all the decorations and lights. I am concerned a bit over the Pop Warner group. It is extremely possible we will be there the whole week with them.
We have a few nights at the WL already booked but need to spend the other half of the trip at a less expensive resort.Seeing as how Pop Warner will probably be at the AS and POP as well as a couple of the moderates I am hoping CSR will be left to vacationers and Conventioneers. I suspect Disney will not book Pop Warner into the CSR to avoid a clash.
I also would like to know how Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party affects the hours of the MK for the week. I am hoping to get in one night for the parades and fireworks. Does SpectroMagic perform in December or is it only the Christmas Parade.
Just want to show the uninitiated a good time.

On MVMCP nights, MK closes at 6:00pm and there is no Spectro or Wishes. Saturday nights are usually open later with both Spectro and Wishes (10:00 or 11:00). Monday and Wednesday usually close between 7:00 and 8:00 with Wishes and maybe Spectro. Wishes is also shown during MVMCP.

If you are not staying at a value or moderate, I would not let Pop Warner change your plans. They can be a little annoying in the parks but they aren't around that much.

Thanks so much. That calander and info is exactly what I was looking for. Borther and sister-in-law had said we needed to cut back on the cost of the trip...mainly the cost of accomodations so we were looking into staying at the All Star. This will be a good excude to bump up to another deluxe. Hopefully we can find a code to assist in the price. Thanks again.
