My daughter (age 25) and I are going for the week...staying in Pop. We stayed there last year in the 50's and this year trying to get in the 90's as we think it looks closer to the bus port and a quieter pool area. Does anyone have any insight on this building/area?
Are we able to use the same refillable mugs from 2009?
Thanks!

12 days until we leave...

We've stayed in the 80s which is essentially the same area, and it's AWFUL! If you're driving it's ok but since you asked about the bus, I am assuming you're not.

It's quiet but it's a long trek to/from the Classic Hall and Everything Pop which was huge for us since we liked to stop by those places most mornings and every night.

Compared to the 50s, it's the same amount of rooms, roughly the same pool size but the 80s/90s area is much further away for tired feet, or for people like me who are food runners for the rest of my party (holding up a tray of food for that long trek is harder than it seems).

Hi MKay! My 27 yo niece and I are going to be there the same week as you! March 3-11, actually. You should come on over to the Official March 2010 thread in the "Doing the Happy Dance" catagory.

I've never stayed in the 90's before, but like the PP, I've stayed in the 80's, and it was quite a hike to the main building and the buses. I don't have a map in front of me right now, so I'm not sure how the 90's are compared to that. I've requested a preferred room, because I like being close to the food court and bus stop. I think you're probably right about the 90's pool area being quieter than the other two. So if that's important to you, then go for it!

You're supposed to buy a new mug every visit. That's all I'll say about that, coz it's a controversial subject here.

Have a great trip! Maybe I'll see you there!

Is it closer to the bus port than the complete opposite end of the bowling pool? That's where we were last year and it seemed way too far away. We are interested in quicker access to the bus port as we didn't spend a lot of time in the Resort last year...we just don't want the long walk at the end of the day if at all possible.
Thanks for your response...we appreciate the input!

Thanks for the info on the "Doing the Happy Dance" spot.

That's nice you will be there with your niece. I'm figuring that this way we will get familiar with the resorts and parks before we come with grandchildren in the future. Just the two of us without the husband, fiance or brothers getting in the way, ha!

Enjoy!
