First visit to DL..have one day...is it worth it?

In November, my daughter and I will be in Palm Desert for the National Field Hockey Festival. We will have one day open to sightsee and would love to see DL. My question is will one day be enough just to do DL or are we too far away from Anaheim? This is our first trip to California so any suggestions are appreciated!

I am probably not the right person to answer this since I head for Disneyland if I am anywhere within a 300-mile radius . You are about 100 miles from Anaheim and probably should allow 2 hours travel time each way. So, if you leave by 7:00 AM, arrive about 9:00, leave at 6:00 PM, you will have 9 HOURS IN THE PARK!! I say, go for it, that is a great time of year to be there.
