First visit--days after Christmas-even worth it?

We will be in the area for the holidays, and we aren't going to get new annual passes quite yet for WDW as the parks are so crowded, and we will be staying off property this time.

We were thinking of getting the seven day two park tickets and using them on December 27, 28 and maybe the 29. I know that we will be traveling during a terribly busy time and staying off property makes it more difficult. It's just me and my husband.

Think we can still manage to have an enjoyable time? Any suggestions on MUST DO'S?

do you mean ap for wdw or uo?
that statement confused me.



if you are going to the parks for 3 days at universal and you start early when the gates open, you should be okay up until 11ish each day. the crowds will become greater at that time.


be at the parking garage by 7:45. they open at 8 but if you wait much longer than that time, the line to get in to park will be much longer.
be at the turnstile around 8:15-20. many times the parks will open when the waiting line at the entrance is long. be aware that not all rides will be open before the official time of 9:00.
ioa will have the hulk and spidey open early on the ioa side.


the time period around january 2 has light crowds.


check the website of uo to see what the costs for epp will be on the days you think you will be at the park. if the cost is only $20 for them, that should indicate a light crowd day.

if you do go and it is crowded early, you can buy the epp for express lane usage once per ride/attraction.
