Hi everyone!
This is our first time as a DVC member.
We will be staying at the the Grand Floridian in October and Wilderness Lodge in January/February of 2002.
Is there a survey or something that shows who will be at Disney on certain dates and where they will be staying and what state they are from? Sure would be fun to bump into other DVC members especially from our own state!
Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Welcome Home! We are also from Indiana, Anderson area. We just came back from WDW a month ago. We took the 4 day cruise and then spent 5 days at Boardwalk our home resort. It was fantastic! You will love being a DVC member. Our only regrets are that we didn't do it sooner and didn't buy more points at our home resort ! We have been members since 1998.

We'll be staying at WLV for the first time as DVC members in October too. We are going to be there the 6th through the 13th. Maybe we will bump into you!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Yesterday the paper work went back to Disney by ways of Fed Ex. I guess we are now waiting on the "Welcome Package."
We will be going as a DVC member for the first time October 14-21. We can't wait. Won't be staying at our home base (WLV)as our daughter wants to stay at the Grand Floridian this time. She has been at the WL 3 times already. We love it there too.
Over the past 8 years, we have noticed that Mears Transportation has been getting worse. I've seen people using a towncar service to get to their resorts. What is the cost of this service? Where do you locate the towncar service at the airport? Are other transportation services more reliable than Mears? This time we will be renting a car as we will also drive around and see Kennedy Space Center and a few other area hot spots we've never seen before.
We are also planning a little romantic get-away with just the two of us next Jan. or Feb. We will then be staying at WLV.
Would love to talk to others near the Indy area who are DVC members. You can e-mail us at:

Hi, Welcome to the DIS boards, and Welcome Home! I agree, you're going to love being DVC members. :)

Tiffany Town Car is probably the town car service you've read about. Here's a link to their site -- Tiffany Town Car. You'll also find alot of information on town car services as well as rental cars on the Transportation Board.

As for a list of people going to WDW, there's Countdown Central. It doesn't have any state or DVC information but is fun for counting the days down to your trip. If you'd like to identify yourself as part of this website you could wear a lime green ribbon (or tie it to your backpack, stroller etc). It's a quick way to spot a fellow-DISer, and who knows, you may bump into someone you've 'met' on the boards. There isn't any way to set DVC members apart - maybe we should choose our own color ribbon and wear it with the lime green one. ;)

Have a great trip! :)
