We will be traveling with two youngsters (5/2). Some flying, some driving with rental car. Wondering if anyone can suggest a good plan for Sea World and lodging near there. We figure we will only go to Sea World one day. We will arrive in the evening, stay two nights, then on to Disney for six nights. Not interested in spending a fortune (we will already be doing that at Disney :) but we want a nice place that is very convenient to Sea World. TIA

Check out the Residence Inn SeaWorld. They offer free parking, free internet, and a free hot breakfast buffet (plus larger suites that include a kitchenette). They also have a zero entry pool that would be very suitable for your small children, as well as a large hot tub, courtyard and sport court.

The Springhill Suites SeaWorld and Fairfield Inn SW are also budget friendly, include breakfast/internet/parking, and have a kids SeaWorld themed pool area.

The Renaissance is right across the street from Seaworld. Its generally more expensive than the RI (and doesn't come with complimentary parking or breakfast), but has a great onsite waterpark/play area for little folks.

Your best bet is to stay at one of the "official" hotels of SeaWorld (the entire list can be found here: http://seaworldparks.com/en/seaworld-orlando/vacations/hotels/official-partners/) so that you can take advantage of all the perks extended to onsite guests (like free Quick Queue and free transportation to SW, so you don't have to drive and pay to park your car).

Seaworld is a GREAT park, with so much to see and do. Shamu's Happy Harbor could eat up a half day alone for your little ones! You might just find you want more than one day to see all the shows, ride the rides, and enjoy the exhibits (and don't forget the animal feedings....super fun and awesome experiences for all ages!). I know we have been multiple times, and can still enjoy two full days at SeaWorld!

Gina gave you great advice for hotel options. I have one other addition too, the Hilton Garden Inn SeaWorld that is right next to the Renaissance is another great property. And it's walking distance to SeaWorld too. Take a look at all these great choices and enjoy your time at SeaWorld. It's such a great park.
