first trip w/ kids in July!

DH and I went for our honeymoon, but this will be the first time w/ kids!

July 7-14 '08

DH and Me, DS -13, DS - 5, and DS - 15 mos as well as my best friend and her DH and DS - 4.

We are driving from Houston,Texas and renting a home in Davenport.

Have not made definite reservations yet for dining and we know we need to nail it down very soon, but we are planning on Chef Mickey's for the character breakfast, Sci-Fi dine in theater for one meal, and Whispering Canyon Cafe for one dinner. I think that's all we had as of right now.

If you have other suggestions as far as good dining options w/ kids and must see attractions or ANY information that will be helpful during our planning, please write!!!!!

Not sure who's more excited, the moms or the kids, but hopefully it'll be a great trip to remember!

I look forward to reading all of your comments and suggestions, we need all the help we can get!

Wow! We are just going to miss you at WDW, since we leave to go home on 7/6! But you sound just like me, because I have three kids: 15, 6, and 3 months (7 months when we go in July!).

Okay -
We have nailed down dining reservations.

Character breakfast @ Chef Mickey's 7/8 and then on the MK!
(figured that would be a great way to kick off the week....plus, it's probably the only day we'll be able to get 8 people moving that early!)

Sci-Fi Dine in theater for dinner one night 7/9, and Whispering Canyon Cafe7/10 for dinner.

ADRs made. We are looking forward to some unique and entertaining dining experiences.

Now we're starting to think about a general plan for the days.

I have been reading all of the boards here for suggestions, packing tips, must haves at the parks w/ toddlers....you name it, I am taking notes!

We bought my DS a lanyard and some trading pins. I also plan to make an autograph/scrapbook for him to bring along....

I could go on and on. I have gotten some great ideas from these boards!
