Woke up at around 6:30 as EE was still in effect and we were headed to MK! As we drove through the toll gates and through the parking lot Tania was so funny "Holy crap I forgot how huge this parking lot was" LOL! Anyways we parked in Minnie, pretty good!

We didn't even need to take the little tram thingy, we could walk to the TTC. We asked if the monorails were running yet and they said only the resort ones. I was about to cry! (Wouldn't that look crazy, 15 y.o crying about a monorail, but I wanted to ride it with Tan! So the CM up at the monorail said they were going to run the first monorail to the parks! It came from the Contemporary and was actually stopping at the TTC! There were some kids in the front so we had to go in a normal car, still very cool when we saw the castle from the monorail, that is my indication that my Disney vacation has started!

So the park was scheduled to open at 9 am that morning so EE was in effect at 7:30, right when we got there :) So we headed over to Space Mountain, walked on. Tania LOVED this one :) I personally love BTMRR and SpM. After Space we headed over to Splash and Big Thunder was WAY to lined up :( We went on the Haunted Mansion, then Peter Pan and It's a Small World. We wanted to do the Tea Cups but they were closed :(

We stopped for lunch Columbia Harbour House for lunch right when it opened. Then we headed over to MGM.

Really funny story - We were pulling into the MGM parking lot and there were tons of spaces available at the front but they were trying to fill up the back lots, the parking attendant, who looked around 18 pointed us to a back lot, mu dad stopped the car and Tan and I kinda smiled and folded our hands in mock prayer to "beg" him to let us go to the front lot, he hesitated and the laughed and let us go :)

Anyways, we headed down sunset blvd and stopped at the foot of ToT I said to Tan "Watch" and she saw it drop and was like "Holy ----!" hehe! We decided to go and grab FP for RnRC and go to wait in line for ToT.

Now I love ToT probably my FAV ride BUT I always get soooooo nervous before it, poor Tan looked like she was gonna throw up at the thought of going on but she wanted to. It took us about half an hour to get to the library then we saw the movie and the "lightning" struck, when we got to the boiler room poor tan was shaking! So we got the elevator on the far left if you are facing the elevators and we were in the back on the right (from our perspective) Tan kept asking "When does it drop" "Is it gonna drop now?" I was like "No hun, not yet" "I'll tell ya when" *evil grin* lol! So we went up saw the ghosts in the hall (Tan "Wow, so cool") and then we got to the third dimension, ours wasn't the hidden Mickey door and we moved forward and it dropped for the first time (Tan "OMG!! AHHHH *hits me*) LOL cuz I didn't tell her. Anyways we saw our pic and it wasn't that great so we decided to see what the RnRC pic would be like.

Needless to say Tan loved ToT and we later found out that my Dad video tapped the whole thing!! (I know you're not supposed to but hey it is a GREAT souvenir) He even turned the camera on us when the doors where open and there was light in the elevator so you could see our expression when we dropped sooooo funny!

Anyways it was time for our FP and we waited about 15 minutes to get on RnRC. The look on Tan's face when she saw it "burn rubber" for the first time was priceless. We were in the second section of the car the front row, my parents were behind us. Again my dad managed to get the "burn rubber" part on tape (through the chain link fence when you come in) but he couldn't video the ride.

We bought the pic, quite funny actually.

Then Tan and I went off to Muppet's 3-D

We met up with my parents and decided to head back to CSR for a swim. So we went back and tanned and swam.

At around 4:00 we headed over to Epcot and did Spaceship Earth. Tania loved it :) I wanted to go on Horizons with her but it had been torn down already *sobs at the loss of my fav ride* so we headed over to WS and to mexico, tan was amazed at how beautiful it was, the night sky, the market, the candle light restaurant. We hopped on El Rio del Tempo or the Mexican Smll World as it is known in my family. She loved it! We headed over to Norway and rode Maelstrom and the we went for dinner in Japan.

Tempura Kiku took about a half hour to get in and seeing Tan try with chopsticks and the give up (great effort!) was cute (We get Japanese food at home ALL the time so i'm almost as good with chopsticks as I am with a knife and fork. Unfortunately both of us were sick later that night, tempura is too rich for us.

We then headed out and showed her the italian pavillion (she's italian and loved it) We watched the tapestry of NATIONS (so amazing why did they change it?) and then Illuminations. Tan LOVED both. We headed back and crashed.

Coming Soon - Day 6 - Typhoon Lagoon
