Day 1 arrived in Orlando mid afternoon, DDs' almost 4 (mild autism) and almost 5 did well on their first flight. Checked into the Holiday Inn SunSpree, the kids also had their own check-in area. They got a goodie bag, which was cute. Went out to dinner, which did not go well and I thought this would be the trip from h*ll! I think it was a long day for us all maybe tomorrow would be better.
Day 2- The weather is not looking promising...again! We arrived at MK at 830am, we obtained a GAC, which we used a total of 3x the entire trip. They did not let us onto Main St until official opening. It was overcast with rain for about an hour and a half, which turned out not to be so bad. We got on Dumbo, then to Snow White (x2) which some people said can be scary to young ones...didn't phase my girls. We then went on the carrousel (x2), then off to Philharmagic. So far everything has been a walk on. My 4yr old did not like the 3-D which did not surprise me, but it was fun to watch my DD5 try to grab the jewels (that's my girl). Then to Peter Pan, which was just ok IMO, and after that Small World. At this point the rain had stopped but overcast the rest of the day. We headed off to Pirates of the Carribean only a 7min wait, we had fun in the gift shop too. We went to the Haunted Mansion, which my DD5 was excited about..."I don't want to do that ride ever again mommy". We then proceded to Splash Mt. which was closed so we went on Big Thunder. My DD4 misses the hight requirement by 2in, so before we left I bought her 2in wedge sandals...it worked!! They loved it! We ate at cosmic Ray's which was good. We went on Astro Orbiter 15min wait, I almost got sick on it. We went on the race cars, walked onto Space Mnt and Buzz Lightyear (x2) and the Blue Line/People Mover. Pooh Honey Pot ride and the new playspot were cute, my girls had a GREAT time. Not bad for 8hrs at the park!
Day 3- Yet another overcast day
My DD5 and husband went on Tower of Terror. "Mommy I liked the ride, but it scared the cr*p out of me"! My Dh and I did a swap and went on Rock n Roller Coaster with no wait...awesome ride!! Met a few characters, then saw Playhouse Disney and Little Mermaid, both cute...only 5min wait each. We then had lunch at Toy Story Pizza Planet, which was fun, pizza was ok. We were then next in line to met Buzz when it just poured for about 5min. We started to watch Indiana Jones, kids were bored! My DD5 face lit up when she saw Star Tours...that made her day!
Day 4-- Started out overcast then sunny finally
! Epcot was not our favorite park, I was disappointed. Years ago there were lot more things for toddlers. Imagaination use to have so much hands on things to do, now there is nothing! Anyway we all enjoyed Spaceship Earth and my kids got to meet Figment. Honey I Shrunk the Kids scared my girls, even though my DD4 had the glasses off it still scared her. We went into Universe of Energy and then off to the Land. I was not all that impressed with Soarin' it was just ok. We waited for 25min. We had lunch, not much to choose from especially for kids. We went to Mexico and Norway, which my kids liked then it was hot and sticky so we left...but not before we all rode Test Track...that was the highlight of the day!! In the evening we went to MK for Spectromagic and the fireworks, my DDs' were amazed!
