First trip to DL in 13 days, but I'm bummed...

I'm a procrastinator - I guess I always will be..but here's what happened, in a nutshell.

We decided (after MUCH debate) that we wanted the SCCP instead of just the park hopper passes. I found the cheapest deal through costco.com but we are in Canada so I arranged with my cyber-friend in the states to buy them and have them shipped to the hotel. I sent a money order to her on Dec 1 in express post and instead of the guarenteed 5 business days, it got there yesterday, Dec. 14. She went to buy them on the costco website today and found that they have only child passes left. the 2007 ones are out and there are no 2006 passes available. (we are going Dec 28-Jan2).

I am just really disappointed and now worried that I won't get any tickets. I mean, do these sell out??? Or is that just costco? Do they stop selling them because we are so close to the end of the year or what? I guess we will have to buy our tickets when we get there and pay the full price.

This is just bumming me out. It is our first trip to DL and it's already started out on a bad note....

Just Costco, i suggest she go buy them online or soemthing or another costco store.

There are lots of other sites that sells the SCP...not as cheap as Costco, but they won't charge you for not being a member along with shipping charges. Disney or Universal also sells them thru their website. Ares travel also sells them. Some of them will ship them free or you can even printout vocher from your own printer.

We are going to LA/Disney/SD on Dec. 22 so I did research for myself on this.

The regular cost for the city pass is 199. You might be able to find them at other sites including disney. Only problem is at this time of year with the holidays the shipping time might be on the tight side for you. Have you tried
AAA?

Just wondering for your next time, couldn't you have purchased the tickets online yourself and just have them shipped to wherever you wanted them to go?

Our Safeway was selling gift cards with park hoppers. Didn't check the price though.
