To celebrate my mother's 80th birthday, my sisters and I and our children have come to DW to spend the week. This trip was the catalyst to go ahead and buy. I banked, used and borrowed so we have 3 2BR villas. In all there are 22 of us here including two who were added after we planned the trip: my first GD and my 1st great nephew. So we have 7 weeks, 11 weeks, 7 children from 8 yrs to 17 yrs., 13 adults from 21 to 80 (almost) and my younger daughter flys in to join us tomorrow. We spent Saturday night at the Swan due to points. Although the beds are wonderful, the extra space in the 2 BR villas makes visiting much easier. We have been opening up the parks and closing them up, and trying to rest in midday. Trip is going great. We have 3 sets of custom designed screen printed shirts with "Mim's Birthday Bash 2008" on the front and a four layer cake with "Happy" "80th" "Birthday" "Mim and Mickey" on the back to help us keep us with each other.
I couldn't even attempt such a gathering... Hope all goes as planned or better.
