Just wanted to let you guys know we made reservations for a savannah view studio at Jambo house @ AKV for Jan. 3-8. Anyone who has stayed at the villas in Jambo house please let us in on some hints about staying there. Thanks. :yay::yay:

You'll love the views of the animals, but you could have a long walk to your room, depending on the location. We have stayed at all three savannas, and had good animal views at all of them. The bathrooms in the Jambo studios are not large, but I like that the kitchenette is totally seperate from the bathroom area. The lack of a closet (wardrobe only in these units) is a bit hard to get used to though.

Our bed was so squeeky. I so much as moved a toe and the bed would squeek! Hated it! Complained about it ..they sent someone to fix it but it was never fixed. Could not wait to switch to SSR so we could get some sleep! Never never again.

Okay, so that seems a bit extreme to me. You get ONE squeeky bed at a resort and you write off the enitre resort forever???:confused3

I agree. We had a very squeeky bed at the GF. I called and they tried to fix it, but were not able to. I would stay at GF again.
