Purchased 250 point BLT last August with Dec UY. Contract has 47 points from 2018, I think they are banked onto 2019? All 250 points for 2019 and 250 for 2020. So I booked a 1BR BLT lake view for 7/6/20 to 7/13/20 (we went to Disneyland in Dec 2019 using no points). For the July trip I used the 2018 and 2019 points (297) and 4 points from 2020, leaving 246 points in 2020 and the next 250 for 2021. Then I booked another trip for December 2020 using the remaining 246 points from 2020 and borrowing 114 from 2021. I bought park tickets from Get Away Today for both trips. I'm flying from CT with 2 teenagers and our priority is the parks but not fireworks, parades or meet and greets.
I don't want to cancel because we really want to go. We are ok with the masks and other restrictions.
My questions are:
1. Aware that the 14 day quarantine may expire in July, but also mindful that both parks won't be open for our July trip, I'm thinking of rebooking for the first week of August. Will I have a problem getting a room? What if I book for August and the quarantine is not lifted by then? Can I rebook without penalties?
2. If August is not available, school schedules will not allow me to rebook until next year in April or the summer (Dec 2020 is already booked). What points would I lose?
3. Are there other options I haven't thought of?
