Hi everyone
My friend and her husband and 2 DD ages 13 & 15 are going to disney for only a few days next week they arrive Wednesday and have tickets for MK and MGM for thursday and Friday... they depart on Sat.

What one tip could you offer them, a must see, or a must do, or a discount tip ... This is thier first trip and I am sure it won't be thier last....

thanks everyone

I would just tell them to make sure they take advantage of Fast Pass.

I would tell them to get to the park early and plan to spend the whole day!!! They are going at a great time of year in that the crowds will not be very wild, but the parks are so big and there is so much to see. It might benefit them to do some homework ahead of time too - especially for Magic Kingdom. I find I have to spend two full days there to comfortably take in everything, so they may want to decide what their "must sees" are and do them first. Tell them to have fun and really enjoy the magic - there is nothing like your first visit!!!!

7/90 off-site

My tip would be to plan everything very carefully. And then don't be afraid to tear up that plan when you get there and find something that catches your attention. LOL

My 2 DS are same ages, if the girls are adventuresome, make sure to do Tower of Terror and RocknRoller coaster in MGM. Also all the 3-D rides the boys loved

If I had to give one piece of advice to a 1st timer...I would say...call & make a few ADR's for somewhere....otherwise you could be eating counter service all week.

my advise would be to enjoy yourself. Most first times feel like they need to see and do everything the first day. Relax and don't try to see and do it all at one time.

I agree with the ADRs! People who came back saying the food was bad generally ate JUNK all week (my sis and BIL do this every time, YUK!) Also, go with the flow and keep an open mind. I know folks who come home complaining about the weather, crowds, prices, ect. Just know it is gonna be hot, crowded, and expensive and get over it! I don't stand in line watching my watch, I just people watch and gab with the family!! FP helps a LOT too, a lot of folks don't even know about it! They should love all of the rides!!
