First timers to Univ Studios, need some indepth-view other than stated in the website

Hi,

Me n my wife are planning a trip to Universal Studios and this is our first time.
We are in our late twenties and feels exiciting so far...
We have decided to stay there for 2 days and 1 night more precisely during Dec 15 and 16 2011....
Can someone suggest where is the best place to stay and do ..
We love rides,harry porter and most of the cinema orentied (thats the main reason we skipped disney land and opted for Univ Studios)..

Just to make absolutely sure, you are asking about the universal in Orlando, right?

You mention skipping Disneyland, so I can't help but worry you're thinking of the west coast universal.
