First Timers Itinarary

Thanks for all the feedback, with this schedual, which day should we use our MM? thanks again!

Day 1 Wed 3/18: Arrival and DL/DCA in the late afternoon/evening

Day 2 Thurs 3/19: Touristy LA stuff and dinner and Lakers game

Day 3 Fri 3/20: Hollywood area (if you didn't do it all yesterday) and universal studios

Day 4 Sat 3/21: DL and CAL

Day 5 Sun 3/22: DL and CAL in the morning before leaving

Personally I'd do something like this:

Day 1: Arrival and DL/DCA in the late afternoon/evening

Day 2: Touristy LA stuff and dinner and Lakers game

Day 3: Hollywood area (if you didn't do it all yesterday) and universal studios

Day 4: DL and CAL

Day 5: DL and CAL in the morning before leaving

Excellent plans. Gives you enough time to do a little of everything you want to do but most importantly, enough time with the Mouse himself

Just wondering, do you have your Laker tickets?

No we don't have the Laker tickets yet, we looked on eBay and they have a ton of them at reasonable prices so we'll be getting those sometime soon, my boyfriend is a basketball fanatic and the lakers game was his only request on this vacation so it really is a must do...again anyone have thoughts on when to use MM? Thanks!

Hmmmm... my first thought was do the MM early entry on Sunday because it's your last day and you will probably be leaving the park around noon, so then you'd have more time in the parks!

But then on second though, I think Satuday because you will likely be out in the park late on Saturday. DL should be open until midnight at least... and getting up that hour earlier on Sunday may be too hard after a full Saturday in the park!
Plus on Friday you will be able to have an earlier day, as universal studios closes at 6pm on that day (just checked on that), so you can get to bed earlier and be rested for an early entry day. And you could even get to DL for the early entry and do the morning in the park, and then take a break and leave the park for a few hours in the afternoon, and then come back in the evening for the rest of the night! Also I think Saturday tends to be a little busier than Sunday morning (we found on our last trip anyway).

So I guess my choice would be use the MM on Saturday, but still make sure to be there at park opening on Sunday to get the most out of your time

Glad there are seats available. We live in San Antonio and I know sometimes Spurs tickets for certain games are difficult to come by.
My vote is for Saturday for your MM. You may be up late Saturday or out the door late on Sunday trying to get everything together to leave
