Hi All! I am going to Disney NEXT WEEK. Omg Leaving here at 6:15 am and touching ground at 9:30ish. I have a few questions. I am travelling with my hubby and 2 kids, 3 and 7yr old girls. my sister and her 2 kids, girl 10, boy 7, and my mom and dad. Dad has cancer so thats why we are going now before they start Chemo. I found the Journal site and printed out a journal for my kids. If anyone has any pointers Id LOVE to hear them. Right now Im concerned about bringing the car seat and stroller. Im pretty sure Ill bring my stroller since it'll be cheaper than renting one over there. We are going for 7 days and have magic your way passes for the 7 days. Any tips or info appreciated :) :earsgirl:

Welcome! I know your trip will be fantastic and will give your family wonderful memories. The best advice I can offer you: go to your local bookstore and buy the UG: The Unofficial Guide to WDW 2005. It is chalk full of helpful tips, especially touring plans to make the best use of your time there. Read it every night until you leave, soak up as much as you can. A friend loaned me one before our first trip to WDW and it made such a difference! HTH ::MickeyMo

I would definitely bring your own stroller. Ours came in very handy for getting around the airport. For a couple of trips we actually had 2 kids in strollers (used umbrella strollers). You can roll them right up to the plane door & then the airline staff will stow it for you & have it waiting for you as soon as you disembark. They are great to have at the resorts too, as there can be a bit of a walk to the food court/bus stops/pool, especially for little ones.

As for the car seat, we never brought our own. We couldn't use it on the bus transportation, & when we used a van shuttle service they used provided one for us. We didn't have a rental car, so I'm not sure if they provide car seats or not.

Hope you have a fabulous trip - lucky you ~ only 1 week!!!
