Hi all, found this site last and have read pages and pages. It has made me more excited than I already was, but has made me realise that planning is the key!

So, off to Disney on 18th Dec for 2 nights / 3days. Driving, have booked tunnel for 9am, I now think this is a bit late so waiting for agent to see if we can make it earlier. Going with my boyfriend and 2 x 2yr olds. Staying at Davy Crocket, I would be really grateful if someone could help me out with a few questions:

1) How long drive is it from Tunnel to Disney?

2) Is parking 8euro per day at disney?

3) Planning on doing Fantasy world one day and Frontierland the next day - does that seem feesable?

4) Would like to do minnies jolly holiday / enchanted candleabration and Disney Fantillusion on the last day (I have no idea of what these are, the poicturs and write up looks good though)

5)Have made reservation at Mickey's cafe for the 2nd night at 6.15pm. The first night will probably be something small and then an early night for 2 very tired toddlers.

6) Planning on getting snow suits for the girls - is that a good idea?

7) Would like to also do the christmas dinner on the last night - seems expensive but is it worth it?

Really want to do as much as possible in the 3days, its our first time at Disney and I'm overwhelmed already at the planning. Had a look at the itinerary with toddlers on Disney which was helpful, but I would prefer a 'parents' opinion!

Thank you so much in advance.

I've been told that the drive is about 3 hours (we're going the night before and stopping over in a Holiday Inn en route!) and it's free to park if you're staying in a Disney Hotel.

I would go with snowsuits! I was going to for our 3 year old, but am thinking now of just getting her some ski trousers otherwise loo trips are going to take ages!

Thank you, Tchibo have ski suits (really pretty) but the jacket attaches to trousers, unzip and the trouers come down, and they are £19 as opposed to £30-£40 everywhere else I've looked!

Hi mum-to-izzy:wave2: I can't answer question 4 and 7 but I can help with the rest. It usually takes us about 3 hours from the tunnel to DCR.
Parking is free if staying at DCR, just show the pink slip that you get when you reach the gates. I would say yes you should definately get the two lands done in 2 days. An early first night sounds like a good idea as this can be the most tiring after all the travelling and excitement and they will love cafe mickey. I Normally pack ski wear for DS2 when we go in winter, it can get VERY cold. Hope this has helped and I'm sure someone will be along to help on the rest of your questions. :)

i think lidl also have ski wear for sale this week!!!

as for ur quest - most have been answered, wud say about changing tunnel - prob wont be able to as tunnel are operating reduced service, so its very busy, and ur earlier train wud be 7.30am (they are running 1 train every 90 mins).

also - another tip for clothing - woollen tights under clothes - extra layer to keep legs warm!!!
