You are definately getting into the spirit of the cruise. You are going to have a great time. But I don't understand why you would not want ot hear "...Small World" and "Be Our Guest" all day long - LOL. I actually found their music to be in the b
ackground most of the time, except the deck parties.

Have a WONDERful time.

Welllllll, I already DID all that: my sons are 19 and 16! And don't get me wrong please ----- I know the atmosphere we are entering. But when I was teenager, I got stuck in Small World with "date", and ride broke down. Not the animation and music mind you: just the ride!!! Being stuck for a long time in Small World is now a personal vision of one circle of Dante's Inferno!!!!!

But I was just poking fun ----- I know just how special the Disney world is for the small fry ---- whatever their ages!!!! And I didn't even bring up the aspect of a four-day (and night) commercial for Disney with paying captive audience: I guess I really am becoming the Crab I've employed as my personal symbol .....

We may tease you but you are among a friendly group here.

I have Disney tunes that get to me too, just can't think of one right now.

You WILL have a great time. Talk to the crew members , especially your servers, and they will that exceptional care of you. Heck, I even have a favorite bartender on the Magic - best chocolate martini's on board!!

sebastiancrabbit and sons, first congrats on winning such a great trip, you'll have a great time with your boys, my suggestion is to check out the cruise meet threads and see if any other late teens are cruising with you and arrange for your DS to meet up on board, i'm sure they will find plenty to do and that you'll all enjoy your cruise. Have a safe, fun trip.

thought i'd give it just one more bump and THANK YOU ALL update ..... we're leaving day after tomorrow!! YIPPEEEE!! .... got the sunscreen, suit, snorkel/fins, and attitude ...... where can I get one of those ripsnorting BahamaMamas right off the bat? :lol

One change note that I really do want to share: my hunny had to cancel trip, due to Momma's frail health, and I have substituted yet another 16 yr old guy to take her spot ..... I wanted to tell all how easy Disney made it to perform this kind of substitution!! In less than an hour and for only $35, the whole transaction from air departure to hotel to transfer to ship and back again was done!! I am very impressed, as I was prepared to have to jump through serious hoops to make it happen! So my personal kudos to Disney for making it easy for these types of life circumstances .....

(Unfortunately, now I have no one to play with ..... ohh welll)

Sorry about the change in plan butyou are right..Disney does come through when changes have to be made.

Have a WONDERful time. We expect a report when you return.

return? surely you jest ...... hehehe

Yes, we have all found out the hard way, they "sweep" the ship and everyone has to leave once they return to port.

I see though that you are beginning to think like a DISer about cruising DCL... you will most certainly enjoy it and not want to leave.
