Besides the rides, is everything else like Disney or Six Flags - dining, games, shows? Do they have the booths where you try to win prizes?

Everything is atleast equal to Disney, and many times better then six flags.

While Universal Studios has great dining, Island's Of Adventure, in my opinion, has better table service restaurants, with Mytho's and Confiscos. One thing is for sure, all the dining in both parks are accompanied by a large amount of themeing.

Universal Studios has shows that revolve around movie making, such as the Wild Wild Wild Wild West stunt show, the Horror Make-Up Show, about makeup special effects used in horror movies, and Animal Planet Live, about animal actors. You can also count T2:3D as part show and part ride. Islands of Adventure has the Eight Voyage of Sinbad, which is a type of stunt show.

Both parks have game booth areas. The Studios has them located in the Amity(JAWS) section of the park. They fit in well with the "Fourth Of July Celebration" of that area. The Islands has them in the arabian part of The Lost Continent. They also have them set up in the section between Marvel and Toon Lagoon.

There are plenty of other things at Universal to see and do that can't be easliy catagorized, nor found t eaither of the two parks you mentioned.
