Thanks to the advice we received here our stay was a great success.
We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and had a courtyard view of where the monorail passes. The playpen in the room was a larger playpen which was awesome (it was Graco brand but I couldn't find a model name. The standard size playpen sheet I brought did not fit however there is one provided). Our daughter is almost too tall for a standard playpen so this was awesome. There was plenty of room by the door for the playpen so we weren't in her sight line for nap and bedtime (we like to nap as well and if she can see us she won't stop talking).
We loved the entrance in to DCA but found the walk from DL painful due to our room location. Seemed like we had to walk so far just to get in to the hotel and then back track to get to our room once inside.
Pool was great, water slide was a hit with our daredevil 2 year old.
We had a fabulous time and while the cost was a bit outrageous to take a 2 year old, the memories are priceless
