Okay, I have never been and I am wondering what I should avoid. I can handle easier rollercoasters, but I don't like to go upside down or do major drops. Please tell me what I should avoid? Thank you!

I think that you will love US and IOA.. there is so much to do and enjoy. The thearter part of it is spectacular much better than anywhere else. But to answer your high speed coaster questions - at IOA the Hulk and Dueling Dragons go upside down..

Thanks geffric, I am a WDW vet but have never been to Universal / IOA because I thought it was mostly thrill rides. I will definatly avoid those 2 that you mentioned. Do you really thing there is a lot for me to do that are not thrill rides?

I think you will enjoy US more, though IOA definitely has some great rides .. these are what I can think of offhand ..

IOA:
Spiderman (Must Do!)
Popeye's (Water Ride)
Dudley Do Right (Water Ride)
JP River Adventure (Water Ride, has a drop)
(plus all of Seussland)

US:
Shrek 4d (Must do)
Twister
Terminator 2: 3D
Horror Make up show
MIB (Must Do!)
MIB..
MIB (repeat over & over!)
Back to the Future (ride can be bumpy)
JAWS (Must do)
Fear Factor Live
Earthquake
Animal Planet Live
ET (Must do!)
(plus KidZone)

I may have missed a few, I didn't include Dueling Dragons & Hulk (for reasons above) nor the Mummy as some may include it in the thrill ride category though I think it's a great ride (even got a few friends on that don't do coasters)

Thank you very much for the advice.... If it helps I will do all at WDW except, TOT, RNRRC and Mission Space.

What is the Mummy like? I don't mind jerky that much. Anything like Indiana Jones at DL? I really like that!

Just an FYI... I am staying 3 nights at Portofina.

You should be able to handle everything but Hulk, Fear Fall and Dueling Dragons then. The water rides have drops, but if you can ride Splash Mountain, you can probably ride those. Mummy is a dark ride/coaster. It doesn't invert and the largest drop is only 25 feet.

I agree, Mummy isn't really a coaster in my opinion - it's more of a dark ride. It does have a few twists and turns, but it's pretty easy on you. Definitely a great ride and a can't miss, IMO. I would avoid, as he said, Hulk / Fear Fall / DD though. I personally hate Fear Fall the most, and refuse to ride it. JP is like Splash Mountain, with a larger drop but not much if I recall.
