Just got back form a great trip and had a chance to try a few places for the first time. I was very pleased with Cape May, both for the character breakfast and the seafood dinner. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty, the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, service was great, selection ample. For a buffet, I'd highly recommend it.
We LOVED the Wave - I was surprised since it has gotten such mixed reviews. I had the sauvignon blanc wine flight with my linguini & clam, DH had the chardonnay with his pork (I know but he hates red - and since it's pork, it wasn't that bad)...They were both excellent, as were the appetizers (we ordered the bread with dip sampler from the bar menu and also the shrimp and crab cake). We did not have dessert, as we were heading out to MVMCP).
House of Blues was ok, we both got the Jambalaya and it was good, but not great. We were warned that it was the spiciest dish, and we like spicy, but the heat of the dish overpowered any other flavor.
La Hacienda was good, not great. I enjoyed my meal and there were some unique items on the menu. I might go back - but I'm not running.
Kouzzina was good, but disappointing - maybe just because I had read such great reviews. I enjoyed my meal, but was not blown away. The clam appetizer was overly heavy on garlic and salt. I then had the greek trio - the pastitsio was very tasty, the chicken simmered in cinnamon was good. The lamb burger was my favorite except that I could not eat it in the form in which it arrived - I had to take it apart. The wine flight was well matched. Again, Kouzzina is a place I will revisit, to try other menu items, but it won't be added to my list of must do's.

thanks for posting especailly The Wave (we were going to CRT before our MVMCP but the food didn't look appealing so we changed to The wave).
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the reviews! We will be dining at three of the same restaurants.
