So I should probably introduce myself in this thread too, as so far since joining I've been busy and really neglected to post.
I'm Natalie, currently living in Chester - North West England. I'm currently studying A-Levels in PE, Biology, Chemistry and Geography and hope to attend university across the pond in the near future. I enjoy films, travel, music and socialising mainly.
This is my first time to WDW in Florida, I've been all over the US due to family situations but never to Disney surprisingly. I'm super excited though! On this trip with me will be my mother (I won't put her age here... I don't think she'd thank me if I did), who is probably along for the ride and is in charge of the finances, she's great - up for most things but has scoliosis (curvature of the spine) which limits some of the rides she can go on and one of my younger sisters Sylvie, of 13.
August 13th - We leave for Manchester Airport and stay the night at the Radisson, in anticipation for the flight next morning.
August 14th - We leave Manchester and arrive at Newark airport to spend a couple of days in NYC. Hoping to visit Staten Island and do plently of shopping!
August 17th - Saying goodbye to NYC and flying into LAX to see some friends/family. We're staying in Santa Monica and will be doing all the usual tourist tours I'm sure - our family insists on it, but I shall not protest.
August 22nd - Finally! Going from LAX into MCO and arriving there approx. 4pm. We're checking into The Swan for the duration of our time at Disney. Hoping to have a quick swim in the pool and have a dinner reservation at The Flying Fish Cafe.
August 23rd - Hoping to spend the day in Epcot (we thought making a rough plan of each day was a good idea? Input/help appreciated!) and have dinner reservations at Kimonos in The Swan.
August 24th - Getting up early and going to Blizzard Beach and then later venturing out of the park as we love The Mall At Millenia and can't stay away.
August 25th - Visiting The Magic Kingdom, can't wait! I'm such a big kid but it's all fab. Dinner at Crystal Palace around 7.35pm.
August 26th - Not really decided on this day, we thought we might return to The Magic Kingdom but are undecided... Citricos for dinner!
August 27th - MGM sounds like a nice day and I've heard a lot of good things about The Hollywood Brown Derby so you guessed it dinnertime.
August 28th - Typhoon Lagoon, not sure what else to add. Dinner at Bluezoo at The Dolphin around 7pm.
August 29th - Animal Kingdom, looking forward to this one. Last night at Disney so a special dinner at Jiko is in order.
August 30th - NOOO.
Have to depart from Disney, hoping to go back April 2008 as I know I'll have enjoyed myself. We fly to Miami and are spending a few days in South Beach, staying at The Ritz Carlton before finally coming home early-ish September.
Anyways wow that turned out to be long. Seeing as this is my first trip I'm not sure my initial ideas on how to go about seeing the most we can for the time we are there. If anyone has any helpful improvements or comments believe me they are most welcomed! Hope everyone attending Disney in the near future has an amazing time and I will be sure to report back here during my trip away. Thankyou for reading and putting up with my rambles
