Hi Everyone,
New Here...We are going to be in Orlando for one day and we are planning on a Universal Day trip to see Harry Potter World. I have a 7 year old boy and a 4 year old girl...Is it worth the extra money to purchase tickets for The Universal Studios or is there plenty to do on the Island Adventure Park for the day?
Thanks for an insight!!
:)

Why don't you just purchase the one day and then upgrade to the two if you have enough time to do the other park? You would just go to guest services and pay the difference in the two ticket prices.

If you buy the two park originally, you can't downgrade.

When are you visiting? A lot of what you'll be able to do will depend on the crowds. If you're going during a high travel season, you would probably not be able to do enough in both parks to make it worth the money for the second park.

You should check out the Universal website for a park layout and what attractions are offered and then You Tube for ride videos. Both will help you decide a plan of action.

Damo: Thank you for the info and good idea on upgrading the ticket :)
And MetroWest
We will be there Feb 22nd...at the end of Presidents week...so I have heard it is a really busy week.

Make sure you visit the play areas with the kids. There is a Jurassic Park play area, a play area over at Popeye's Bilge Barges (Me Ship The Olive), and a play area in Seuss Island (If I Ran the Zoo).

Another ride that is often missed by people with kids is Storm Force Acceletron over beside Hulk. It is basically a tea cups ride. Make sure you see the Sinbad ride and spend a bit of time conversing with the Mystic Fountain. Also, make sure you spend a bit of time in the Jurassic Park Discover Centre on the bottom level if your kids are into dinosaurs. There are some cool interactive exhibits there.
