You should let your dad know that you don't have to wait until 3 to check in. They will check you in early but your room might not be ready but you still get your park tickets and get to use the pool and the rest of the resort.

I also had to convince my brothers to go to the MK on our arrival day.

BTW, totally envious that you have a sister close to your age with whom you can share all these Disney memories! I have 2 brothers, yeeha. LOL.
