And the first time my family has ever been. Traveled with my DH and our two daughters 7 & 4. We had 4-day parkhoppers and stayed there May 10-13th a Saturday-Tuesday.

Stayed at BWPPI. Liked it well enough. The breakfast was pretty bad, but it was edible. I was surprised at just how close all of the Harbor hotels were to the park. This one was right across the crosswalk, yes, but you could still see a dozen or so hotels that were just a few steps away!

We used Sunny's Transportation and both drivers we had were excellent. On time, friendly, safe. Two clean vehicles and two clean booster seats.

Saturday there were so many middle school music groups that it felt more crowded than it probably was. They seriously had no situational awareness and would just stop right in front of you in the middle of wherever! We rode Mickey's Fun Wheel first at our daughter's request and then the swings before hopping over to Disneyland.

We had the Photopass + and it was worthwhile. I got over 100 pictures and was overall happy with the quality/quantity.

Sunday (Mother's Day) was the best day of the four days. Not unbearably hot or crowded. Both of my girls are night-owls (and adrenaline junkies!) so we rode a lot of splash and big thunder over and over again after about 9pm when the crowds really thinned out.

Monday it started getting really really hot. We tried a few times to wait to see Elsa and Anna but waiting in the sun was just a killer. Ate at Big Thunder BBQ and it was the best meal we had while there! We all loved it.

Tuesday was just HOT. Did wide-right to ride Radiator Springs and got on with maybe a 10 minute wait. But we were there over an hour before park opening so we still waited a long time. It was ok. We all liked Tower of Terror a lot more and rode that over and over again. We grabbed a FP for RSR after we rode the ride and it was for 1:30-2:30. We rode it again after our character lunch at Ariel's Grotto. The FP's were available for about 2 hours before they ran out. DCA felt hotter/less air movement than DL so we hopped back over to Disneyland at about 2:30 and stayed there until it closed. All of the refurbs at DL made it feel more crowded at it was a little disappointing not to be able to ride Pirates and IASW.

Our last night ended on kind of a bad note. We hopped into the 55 minute long Splash line at about 8:45 for a 9pm closing and were talking about how we were going to make our favorite ride our last ride and we finally got on and got almost halfway through when they called log-jam and turned on the lights and evacuated everyone. My 7 year old burst into tears. On our flight home the family in front of us said that they shut it down because a 14 year old kid hopped out of the boat. Grrrrrrr. So that was a little frustrating. But overall we had a great time and I can't wait to go back again. I thank the DIS boards for all of the helpful advice!
