First Time Purchase Minimum

We are looking into buying DVC direct as new members. Does initial buy-in need to be 150 points? Or could we do 100 at one resort and 100 at another if we wanted two home resorts? If it needs to be 150 for the first contract, could we then do 50 direct at a second resort?

AFAIK, your first direct contract ( if you are not already an owner ) must be for 150 points. Yes, you could purchase another 50 points as an add-on contract at a second resort, as long as you keep the same use year and keep the title exactly the same as the first. (If you don't do that, it would be a second membership and subject to the 150 point minimum).
