First time JetBlue flyers...

We're flying down in february with plane-changes in Boston.
One group arrives at 8:30am and leaves for MCO at 10:00am
The second group arrives at 12:35pm and leaves for MCO at 1:00pm
We're worried we won't make the connection.
Has anyone made a switch with JetBlue at Boston airport - how much time do we actually need to catch the next flight. Do we have to switch our luggage or will JetBlue do that for us? Do we need to go through security again? If the first flight is delayed and we miss the second will they add us to the next available?
So many questions...can anyone help?

All Jet Blue flights are in the same small area at Logan - you don't need to move your luggage or go through security. If you miss the connection, Jet Blue will put you on the next flight if possible.

25 minutes seems awful short to me, but airlines spend a ton of time and money on their schedules and won't put one together unless they are reasonablly sure you will make it.

Gut feeling is that the people will have no problem with the connection. I'm more worried about the luggage. If the luggage doesn't make the connection, it will be on the next flight.

I would call Jet Blue about that connection time. They may be able to do something about it now instead of worrying about it.

They will be boarding your second flight before you even land. You don't have to go through security but I would play it safe and put what you need for that first day in your carry on in case your luggage doesn't make the second plane.
