First time I am going to run out of towels

I usually go solo in a studio or a 1 bedroom. Next week I'm in a 1 bedroom but with four people. With twice-daily showers I am thinking we're going to run out of towels fast. Short of staying home and doing the laundry, can we request extra towels, or is that an additional charge? I always hang mine up, but I four towels and one bathroom--I think we'll be draping towels over doors throughout the house.

Extra towel packs aren't that expensive. $6 IIRC. Request one, bring some detergent tabs and use the in unit washer & dryer. We throw in a load to wash while in the park and then use the dryer we return.

We always bring detergent (so we can pack half as many clothes) and find it easy to start a load of clothes or towels in the morning before we leave and dry them in the afternoon/evening after we come back. But I know what you mean about not enough towel racks - that's been my issue with BWV since day 1!

I have detergent and fabric softener in my Owner's Locker, and we'll be doing some laundry every night so we can pack carryons only, so I guess it won't be a hardship. My first day is Monday of a 5 night visit, so does that mean we'll get towels on the fourth day (Thursday) or the fifth day, Friday? I usually cancel the trash and towel visit when I am alone as I won't use all those towels.

Thursday

Bring laundry pods and dryer sheets for goodness sakes. First thing in the morning (yikes - every day) throw a pod in the washer and run a load then throw everything in the dryer before you leave. Get back later on and spend five minutes folding towels. Mousekeeping costs all of us in dues so that is why you are provided a WD with a limited amount of towels. I'm sorry, I don't want to pay for other people's unnecessary extras.

Are you there on points or cash through Disney Reservation Center. On DVC reservation, you'll get clean towels every four days. But here is what you can do. Note: There are no free towels except every four days and those are limited to four bath towels.

If you fold your towels once, there is plenty of room to put two towels on one rack. Aren't there 2 or 3 racks? Problem solved! Another option is to bring command hooks. Just get the real strong ones.

This is why I stopped doing laundry when staying DVC.
Throwing towels, bathing suits, whatever, into the dryer without first washing them.
Never thought of it this way before... We usually just hang our wet towels up but if I needed them dried quickly, I would through them in the dryer. The high temp option will kill any germs/bugs in there. And presumably people are not throwing truly dirty items in the dryer - just wet. But if you are that concerned, a simple spray with lysol and let it sit for a bit, then wipe it out would do the trick.

I would be concerned that this would make my clothes smell like Lysol. (I know, you can't write something that pleases everybody.)

I'd wash them/put them in the dryer if you need them faster. Most showers have that line to pull across for extra drying space too. You can easily fit 2-3 towels on it that will dry throughout the day while you're at the parks.
