Hi all my little woman has a whole bunch of health issues and we finally got our domiciliary care allowance for her so we are treating her to Disney for 4 days 15th - 18th march yay. Anyways I was just wondering about the gac card should I bring my proof of domiciliary care it's only paid if your child has severe disabilities or should I get a letter from gp. One of her multiple issues is ADHD and she can be hard to manage. She gets tired and bored easily so we will def be bringing buggy even though she is 7. Any advice would be appreciated

You need a doctors note, stating what the problem is, and stating what the person can't do (like waiting for a long time) and that this person might need supervision at all time.

Hi Leahsmum23 :welcome: to the Disneyland Paris Trip Planning & Community Board.

This is a friendly board, please join in on any thread or if you have any questions please start a new one of your own.

If you haven't had a look yet, the DLP DISboard posting rules are here and the DIS posting guidelines can be found here. :)

The letter from your doctor can't be more than 3 months old (which won't be an issue with your dates) and If you haven't already seen it there's this link in The Very Useful Info sticky at the top of the page.

Hope you have a magical trip. :goodvibes

Thanks a million I will organise that doctors letter and thank you also for the welcome this forum is very helpful

Our son has autism. We've just returned from his 10th birthday visit. We have a Disabled Access Pass for him. We took GP letter stating his diagnosis and that crowds and queuing can cause him distress. Staff have always been great with him. There are a couple of the rides where the system is a little odd, eg BTM - please don't misunderstand mem we never expect to be able to go straight on whenever we want, but BTM was always really busy, and you wait at the exit so loads of people coming off the ride, people taking photos, not much space etc, and then CMs give you a little card with a word on it and you have to listen for them calling that word - loads of times people have missed their go because they didn't hear.

Any questions please feel free to ask, and I will do my best to answer.

So helpful thanks I don't expect to get on straight away but I just know she won't last more than 15-20 mins before bein hard to manage mornings will be ok it's afternoon and evening that she gets more disruptive.
