Early start again we were up and ate breakfast and the shuttle to arrive at 8am just as the Park doors opened .Quickly through security we made our way down a deserted Main Street to Discoveryland. It was Juz’s birthday today so it was his choice to head for Space Mountain as it was his BIG favourite ride in the park.
Me and Kristian chose to sit it out this time so passed our time on Buzz Lightyear. Having done EMH at Orlando it’s so much quieter in Paris at this time…so we do the rides to death in this land. We then walked through to Fantasyland where it seemed so much busier even at that time so decided we would walk to the Studios to get in early to ride Crush…..yeah right!
We stood in the holding area which was already MAD by 930am. It was VERY hot and clammy and so busy it wasn’t a nice experience. Fanfares given the Crush began. By the time we made it through there was already a 2 hour wait for Crush. Each to his own but there is NO WAY I would queue for any ride for that long so we crossed the park amazed at how small it was and walked right on to Rock n Rollercoaster. The walk through to the ride is just like WDW but the pre ride clip was completely different. The ride was good but sorry to compare again I do prefer the WDW one .
We headed out to find the park very busy now. We took some pics at the closed Armageddon and Narnia.
Crush area was still mad so we jumped in to the Animation studio a great fave at WDW.
We always love the drawing academy but once again the lack of queue protocol meant the kids had fun doing the other activities in there.
Disappointed by what we had seen we decided we had enough. Maybe as it was so busy but we felt we had seen and done what we could crowds permitting.
We headed out to the Disney Village and browsed the shops once again surprised how compact it was.
Rave reviews led us to Annettes for lunch and we were very impressed. Three of us had the Rock n Roll burger with fries, coke and brownie a la mode. Kayleigh had the Eurochick burger with the same whilst Kyle had the Mini hotdog (not so mini!) fries coke and icecream and smarties.HUGE portions and great value.
Another browse around the village we then head back to the hotel for a rest.
Showered and rested we head back to the Park to make our reservation at Walts.
It was a lovely setting and the food was very good. We had a really nice server who let us move to the window whilst our dessert was being prepared to watch the parade .
After our meal we walked through to Forntierland and walked through the Fort with some great views.
We headed over to Adventure Isle where we played in the caves and did the Treehouse with once again some great views of the park. We then headed to Pirates of the Caribbean which was a walk on lucky to be one of the last rides as when we came off there was a large group pleading to no avail to be let through.
Wanting to miss the post parade scramble we left the park
We got back to the hotel so Kristian could MSN
his dgf and we relaxed with some well earned booze!
