First time flying with Virgin - Help needed please.

I think sone one mentioned twi -light check in. As far as I understand this isn't available from Manchester. I wish it was, we used it for the 1st time this Feb from Gatwick & it was ideal.

But this August we are flying from Manchester with Virgin, much nearer to home than Gatwick.

I wonder, since the lightning strike has put 'Barbarella' out of action, whether the plane shipped up from Gatwick will be an 'Odyssey' type. That would give you a 50/50 chance of getting one with the better entertainment system.
