Looking for any advice or help in a few areas of planning. Traveling with my 4yr old dd who is princess obsessed. In picking my fp+ options for mk I find myself choosing only the meet the princess options... What rides should I be considering also and other fp favorites. For the parades both daytime fantasy and nighttime electrical is it worth it to use a fp for these? Thanks in advance xo

In my opinions there are lots of variables to consider. When are you going? Will you be able to get to the park for rope drop? Do you have dining reservations where you can meet some of the princesses while you eat? (Thinking of Akershaus at Epcot). I am fairly certain Mesaboy2 has a link in his thread with lots of good details on FP+. I would think a child that age would be interested in Peter Pan and that ride generally has long waits. Enchanted Tales with Belle is another one with long waits. Of course the mountains do too, but not sure if your DD is tall enough for those rides (40 inches for Big Thunder and Splash and 44 for Space) or if she'll want to go on those anyway, but they also get long waits as well. However, if you can get to the park when it opens, you can knock out lots of rides with minimal waits. Happy planning!

Another ride that has huge lines besides Peter Pan is Dumbo. My daughters all loved this ride.

We love the restaurant Akershus. A must for little girls.

We really had fun meeting the princesses in EPCOT's meet and greets. You really get to talk with the princesses. We had so much fun with Jasmine and Aladdin. We also met Mulan, Belle, Snow White and Aurora in EPCOT. The girls loved these meet and greets. You can look up these schedules. Get on line a few minutes before they get there. Then you can be first.

What about BBB? We are doing it this summer. So much fun.

I would not use a fast pass for the parades. We always get a good spot and we travel during crowded times.
Enjoy!

We did a princess breakfast when my daughter was that age so she could a bunch in one swoop and we didn't have to wait in line over and over.

We also always do a breakfast so we can see lots in one swoop. Not sure when you are going, but when we went in Sept, we also met 3 princesses with no wait at the start of extra magic hours. Peter Pan, Dumbo and Winnie the Pooh were rides that were on the kids must do list when they were that age.

You can also meet some princesses at Epcot in World Showcase. Snow White, Belle, and Aurora are all there at various times. So if you don't want to use a FP at MK on them, you can see them there. Waits seem to be shorter there, but they don't meet continuously like at MK.

Also, we met the princesses at Fairytale Hall with a minimal wait by going close to park close.

I know Dumbo was pretty bad before the Fantasy land expansion. Is it still a long wait? I only ask b/c I have been checking the wait times daily (usually once in the morning maybe an hour after park opens, during the afternoon and then at night) and I don't recall seeing Dumbo being above a moderate wait and usually in the short range. I did not ride on my last trip in Dec, but I believe there is a play area so the wait doesn't seem as long b/c the kids can play while waiting their turn.

Thank you everyone! We are going end of March and we do have a lot of character dinning booked... All character dining actually I believe lol.. Possible overkill?? Is the Ariel ride decent?? My DD4 is I timid almost 5 year old. I do also have a DD1. We are doing 3 days mk, 1 day HS, 1 day Epcot and finish in mk on last day.

Depending upon when you're going, No. 1 will be the 7 dwarf's mine train. If not open, and your 4yr old is tall enough, Splash Mt. and Big Thunder Mt. If not tall enough, Peter Pan for sure and the Little Mermaid.
