Our first choice would be Crystal Palace for an early breakfast -- even though it is characters. We took our oldest son, who was 18 at the time, and his then girlfriend who was 17, for his high school graduation and they had a blast at CP -- at the food is good too. The other choice would be teh Plaza Restaurant -- simple, comfort food and excellent desserts. And it is a quaint restaurant.

I love Crystal Palace, too. But if you're in the mood for a little romance ;), you might think about Tony's Town Square restaurant. It's a little quieter. The restaurant is "Lady and the Tramp" themed, with statues and pictures of the movie around. Food is Italian and very good!

Have a great time!

Does it have to be at the MK? I only ask because the MK has only limited sit down restaurant choices. You can always take the monorail and head over to the Poly. Ohana for dinner or the Kona Café are both excellent choices.

M Dbf LOVED Ohana. We were there on our third trip and booked a reservation at Ohana for the first time (I remember eating there with a trip with my family) and he just could not STOP gushing about why we hadn't eaten there before.

When I asked him where he wanted to eat on this upcoming trip he said:

Ohana (again)
Boma (again)
Sanaa (again)
France in Epcot (again)

List the best restaurant to eat for dinner--at a decent price that is worth it.

Resort:

MK: CP for breakfast
EPCOT: San Angel Inn and get a water side table very romantic
HS: Scifi its just cute sitting in the cars
AK: we only ate in Rainforest and it was good but loud
DD: Fultons was great I don't eat seafood and still had pleanty to choose from.

These are my cheap price restaurants, that are worth it. Can go a lot more $$$, and wonderful food at others.

MK: Plaza
EPCOT: Mexico, CS
AK: nothing
HS: nothing
DD: earle of sandwich
Resort:

Again, these are the cheapest restaurants that are good.

MK: I hate to say it, but I would take the monorail to the Poly for Ohana instead.
EPCOT: Les Chefs de France
AK: Yak and Yeti was really good when we went, but I would hop a bus to AKL and eat at Boma or Sanaa.
HS: Mama Melrose (again, we just ended up taking to boat to Epcot and eating there, and going back to HS again.)
DD: Raglan Road. Hands down.
Resort: After Boma, Sanaa and Ohana, our fave resort rest. was California Grill, which can be a little pricey.

MK: For a TS I would take the monorail over to O'hana or Kona (did date night at Kona last February and enjoyed it!). For CS I would go to Columbia Harbour House. ALTHOUGH, if you want to stay in the park, what about The Plaza. It's a cheaper TS because it's sandwiches but it's very reasonably priced, I've heard it's delicious (we're going in February) and they have great desserts (sundaes!).

EPCOT: HMMM, this is the one that gets tricky. There are so many options but a lot of them can get pricey. For TS I would try Les Chefs de France or Teppan Edo (FUN! We're going in February). For CS, without a doubt I would do Sunshine Seasons! YUM!

AK: I would head over to Boma, but if you want to stay I would do Tusker House.

HS: Without a doubt I would do Sci-Fi! We loved it last year, it was so fun! But stick with burgers and fries and you can't go wrong. The shakes are really yummy too! We actually found it fairly reasonable for a TS restaurant, we only spent a little more there then we did at Sunshine Seasons the day before, plus you get to sit in the cars!

DD: For a fun experience I would do T-Rex. We loved it! It's expensive, but the portions are HUMONGOUS! So things are really very easily shared with some still leftover! Or make a meal from the appetizers, I suggest the Triasic Tuna and something else! WOW! That was good!

Resort: For a more romantic meal that won't break the bank like a signature restaurant, what about The Wave at the Contemporary, or again I suggest Kona (Tuna Oscar!).

One tip: SHARESHARESHARE!!! Disney only charges about 2.50 for an extra plate. The portions are definitely big enough to split between two people. My ex and I did this, my parents and I do this now. It saves money, and it fills you up enough to be pleasant and not overstuffed.

MK: I wouldn't recommend anything here but Liberty Tree Tavern. I personally think Crystal Palace is overrated, and with a boyfriend, you'll be surrounded by kids and characters.

EPCOT: Rose & Crown, they're affordable and if you like irish food, it's a for sure choice for a young couple.

AK: I've never really took the time to eat anything heavy at AK, but i've heard good things about Tusker House and Yak & Yeti.

HS: Hollywood Brown Derby, when I went with my ex, we shared an entree and appetizer. It ended up being about 30-40 dollars.

DD: House of Blues or Bongo (west side), both have good food, and they're big enough to share.

Resort: Kona Cafe at Poly, Contempo Cafe at CR, Picaboo Buffeteria at Swan or Dolphin
